Simple Thai Noodle Bowl

A Thai-stimulated recipe!  soft rice noodles tossed in soy-based candy and savory sauce, mixed with crunchy veggies and peanuts, garnish with lots of cilantro and inexperienced onions. smooth to put together and filled with formidable flavors in an effort to depart you looking extra! maintains well as leftovers.


That is one of those dishes this is even higher as leftovers than it is the day you're making it. The sauce has soaked its way into the noodles to offer it a fuller, extra sturdy taste. I add extra cilantro, peanuts and inexperienced onions as garnish, and don’t even hassle to microwave because i really like to consume it that manner day after today.
INGREDIENTS :

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/3 cup chopped unsalted peanuts
  • 5 oz rice stick noodles (dry)
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken optional
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage

Sauce :

  • 5-7 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/8 cup sesame oil
  • 1/8 cup honey

INSTRUCTIONS :

  1. Soak rice noodles via completely submerging noodles in warm water for half-hour, or consistent with bundle commands. Drain noodles.
  2. bring water to boil in a pot. as soon as water is boil, add drained noodles and cook for two minutes. take away from warmth and drain promptly to prevent noodles from getting gentle. 
  3. In a small bowl, blend together all "sauce" ingredients.
  4. Pour sauce onto drained noodles and mix nicely.
  5. add shredded cabbage, shredded carrots and shredded cilantro to noodle mixture. additionally upload half of of the chopped cilantro, chopped inexperienced onions and chopped peanuts. Reserve the alternative 1/2 for garnish. elective: upload shredded rotisserie chicken to noodles (see word 1). blend nicely the noodle combination.
